Building a Company Website in a Day with AI

2 months ago Posted by Mike Technology, Work

Creating a website used to take days or even weeks of design and development work. Today, that process is changing fast.

I recently built CrazyBabcias.com, a custom cookie company website, in less than a single day using Claude Code. What once required multiple tools and long timelines can now be done quickly with the right approach and clear direction.

Turning an Idea into a Website

The concept behind Crazy Babcias was simple. A fun and memorable custom cookie making brand with personality and warmth. The goal was to create a site that feels inviting while still standing out.

Instead of starting with traditional wireframes, I used prompting to guide the entire process. By describing the look, feel, and structure of the site, I was able to generate and refine the design in real time.

Why Prompting Changes Everything

Prompting is quickly becoming one of the most powerful tools in modern design and development. With the right input, you can shape layouts, content, and features almost instantly.

This allows you to move faster, explore more ideas, and build complete experiences without getting stuck in slow iteration cycles.

Design and Development Are Evolving

The line between design and development is becoming less defined. You can now think through ideas and build them at the same time.

This shift makes it easier to bring concepts to life without needing a large team or long timelines. It also opens the door for more people to create websites, products, and digital experiences.

Anyone Can Create Something Great

You no longer need to be an expert developer to build a great website. With a bit of creativity and clear direction, anyone can create something meaningful.

Strong ideas and good taste still matter, but the tools now make it easier than ever to execute those ideas.

Final Thoughts

CrazyBabcias.com is a great example of how fast things are moving. What used to take weeks can now be done in less than a day.

If you have an idea, now is the time to build it. With modern tools and a little imagination, creating a website has never been more accessible.

Mike Rosik

I bring over 20 years of experience in creative and technical design and development, with a specialization in user experience and design prototyping. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Animation and have worked across diverse industries, including automotive, education, software, visual effects, and startups.  I’m also an FAA licensed drone pilot based in Oxford, Michigan.

In recent years, I have actively leveraged emerging technologies like AI, vibe coding, and APIs to enhance my prototypes and projects. My expertise spans app and web-based user interfaces, AR/VR/XR, improving user experiences, microcontrollers, Node.js cloud servers, AWS cloud integration, and innovative storytelling methodologies. Additionally, I have explored physical prototyping tools, such as using cardboard for occlusion surfaces, to improve augmented and virtual reality experiences and spark creative solutions. I am particularly passionate about photogrammetry and 3D model generation, utilizing advanced techniques like Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) and Gaussian splatting to create high-quality, immersive assets from photos and videos.

Collaboration and user-centered design are at the core of my process. I engage with stakeholders and end users to fully understand their goals and challenges, transforming their feedback into personas, journey maps, and user flows that outline an optimal path to success. By focusing on the user, I not only create intuitive and impactful experiences but also uncover overlooked opportunities for improvement, ensuring the final design delivers maximum value.
