As a UX and Product Designer focused on interactive media, visualization, and emerging technology, I created SvetGrid to help simplify the process of understanding solar energy systems through real time interaction and 3D visualization. SvetGrid is a free web based tool that allows users to experiment with solar panel systems before investing in real equipment. The platform was designed to make complex solar concepts easier to understand for homeowners, students, hobbyists, and professionals by transforming technical calculations into an interactive visual experience that feels approachable and intuitive.

The tool allows users to configure solar panels, battery systems, inverters, wiring setups, geographic locations, and panel orientation to better understand how these decisions impact total energy production and overall efficiency. Users can also individually adjust the angle and positioning of specific solar panels or entire arrays to see how changes in tilt, orientation, time of day, sun position, and geographic location affect overall wattage output and system performance in real time.
Instead of relying only on spreadsheets or static calculators, SvetGrid uses interactive 3D space to help users visualize how solar systems behave in real world scenarios. The project is designed to help users better understand how environmental conditions and system configuration choices directly influence solar energy generation and efficiency before spending money on equipment or installation.

One of the primary goals of the project is to help users make smarter decisions by giving them a clearer understanding of how different variables affect solar performance. The experience also explores how spatial design and interactive environments can improve education by making technical concepts easier to understand through direct interaction and visual feedback.
From a product design perspective, SvetGrid demonstrates my work in UX design, real time data visualization, interactive educational tools, responsive web experiences, and 3D interface design. The project reflects my interest in building software experiences that combine usability, visual clarity, and emerging technology to solve complex problems in a more engaging and accessible way.
The project is free to use and available at SvetGrid.com.
